The bar was open when we came in after the show.
The Stretton served the purpose for which we wanted it. ie. one overnight stay in Blackpool on the seafront and on the quieter side of the promenade so we were away from the noise at night. We were pleasantly surprised by our bedrooms.
The Reception, public toilets and games room were shabby and smelt. The tableclothes at the breakfast table were stained, there were cigarette dimps in the doorway along with scraps of food. The bedroom windows were dirty.
It was a small hotel that made you feel you were at home.it was comfortable ,the price was good because I booked two rooms one which was a family room and was big the breakfast was really good and the service was excellent I would look forward to book again and I wanted to extend for a day but it was fully booked and thank you !!
The bathroom floor and the check in time was really late in the afternoon which ment I had to move around the city with my bags.
The breakfast was great, generally clean rooms the hotel must have been quiet when we went so they upgraded our room which was great
The staff could hav been a little more attentive as there was often no one around for long periods at breakfast and there was no entertainment and the bar was rarely open
main areas of the hotel were nice and clean was impressed when we walked in
the room was tiny for a double we are not the slimest of people but could just fit in the shower
Friendly staff, excellent food, good location for purpose of visit. Only a short walk from night-life, but quiet enough for a good nights rest. Sea view & other 'sights from bar window were enjoyable.
Parking spaces were limited, but managed to find a free space after a few minutes of driving round. Local car parks were expensive, I believe £13 for 24 hours.
Excellent location, 5 min walk to the tower. Bedrooms quiet with adequte facilities for a weekend break. Staff very welcoming. I booked 6 rooms and everyone was happy. Parking a bit limited but there is a cheap carpark close to the hotel.
the little kebab house down the road
breakfast was terrible, crumbs all over the floor, toilet seat broken, tap dripping,t.v didnt work properly and the room was very dated..dont rely on parking as i had to pay and display which cost me £13
The breakfast was very tasty and I would recommend it to everyone.
The location of the hotel was not the best, perhaps further up the promenade would have been nicer.
We found the staff helpful and friendly, the bar prices were not to expensive for a hotel, the breakfast was really good. Would definately visit the Stretton again, possibly for a longer stay next time.
We found the showeroom rather small, but it was clean and that's what is important. We were suprised we had no hotel information book in the room.
The hotel was located right near the night clubs and not far from the main attractions. The staff were great and would go out of their way for you. I would stay here again and recommend it 100%. My partner and I enjoyed our stay very much and would like to thank the staff for their kindess. The lady on reception on check in with dark hair, was fantastic.
Location for going out to the nightlife was excellent, there was 7 of us. Hotel staff was very friendly and let me park my car past check out for a few hours so we could go to pleasure beach
Apparently the breakfast wasnt to good, although I never made the breakfast only 2 of us did. Somthing about non buttered toast and beans and mushrooms all over the place. Don't let it put you off.
The Stretton Hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were well presented and very clean.
Not the hotel's fault but the promenade was closed for major roadworks and we had a terrible struggle actually finding the hotel. Once we had worked out where is was we struggled to get to it.
The hotel staff where more than helpful, the breakfast was very good
the room that we were allocated was terrible, room 124 informed manager ofroom being unsuitable and would require a different room if we were to return.
Comfortable, friendly,good buffet breakfast
